How about a way to enter alternate names for players?
A common problem is casters referring to a player by his/her most popular account, even if the player isn't playing on it. This can be confusing for more casual viewers who don't know everyone's alts. However, main accounts often have names that are easier to say, and knowing the "identity" of a player helps to build a "story" for a casted tournament. It would be fine if the caster had to drop a configuration file somewhere to define alt player names (this would probably be the optimal way, it's not like you'd want to be editing it midgame; EP launcher could later be extended to have an editor or something).
Being able to hide real usernames might also help mitigate invite spamming.

If the new UI doesn't support all resolutions, displaying a "UNSUPPORTED RESOLUTION" warning when a observer is on a wrong one would be nice.

I know I'm over a week late on this , but will design is amazing. The only I'd change is to shift the 2nd players units/techs in queue to where the scores would normally be to make it easier to tell the difference between the twoInterjection wrote:
I got excited and started making something. This is just some random ideas, I'm pretty sure there's better ways of laying things out. It's also not finished, I think where the techs are shown in the bottom right... that should show all techs complete including stuff like 'cav combat'. When you click a unit, it will show the relevant techs. I imagine the market techs being grouped together so it's easy to spot them.

it would be nice to have a spectare game already in progress but it is sure impossible to do on aoe3

Hi,
Wouldnt it be better to put the "Recalculated economic unit population" by default instead of economic unit population because anyway, we always switch to it and it could prevent that sometimes caster forget to click on the bar to switch which can be a bit annoying for viewers.
