"ESOC" like patch and tournament maps for vanilla
Inspired by the Original Idea of Rikikipu: viewtopic.php?t=6550
I have spent the last month to put together some maps and integrated balance for my favourite vanilla. This Version fixes some remaining issues with Cards and Tech in Rikikipu original balance, aswell as some map issues with natives and adds some additional Maps and Balance Changes.
This is an attempt to fix only the biggest flaws in AOE 3 Vanilla Balance using only Scenario Triggers inside the Random Map Scripts for maximum compatibility.
It draws some Ideas from the Community ESOC for TAD and took some changes from the Asian Dynasties.
Maps included (of which non is mine) are:

ESOC Arkansas
ESOC Colorado
ESOC Flordia
ESOC High Plains
ESOC Hudson Bay
ESOC Manchac
ESOC Tassili
ESOC Unknown fixed
TAD Siberia

Balance changes integrated in the maps:
1. Halb +20 Base HP and -10 Food Cost
(HP as in the Asian Dynasties, ESOC Patch further increases Halb Damage and Armor, this was not possible with triggers but a Cost Reduction is)
2. TP -500 HP and -50 Wood Cost(from the Asian Dynasties)
3. Gendarm -25 Base HP and -5 Gold and -5 Food Cost (taken from ESOC Treaty Patch)
4. Initial Wall HP Halved (-1500) and LOS reduced from 3 to 1 (from ESOC)
5. Mameluke HP reduced by -150 (from ESOC)
6. Monitor Cost increased by 200 Gold and Traintime increased by 20 seconds (Reducing Range like in ESOC was not possible)
7. Ports start the game with +50 Wood (Idea of Rikiki to make them viable)
8. No Blockade (Because it sucks in long Treaty games)
9. Mass Cav 50% traintime reduction changed to 35%, Riding School 40% Card changed to 30%
(Now a total of 65% same as for infantry tech + card)
Put the files in the.rar under C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\RM

A few people on game ranger, nobody competitive. TWC and TAD were always too AOM for me with their magic dances and Asian Wonders, Aura Abilitties, etc.

Yeah fun stuff, maybe I'll come play a few nilla games on these maps
I wish skirms and bows could get *0.75 vs cav like on tad though, but idk if it's doable with triggers.

This is a cool project. Maybe to nerf RI a bit, lower their attack but give them a biggest bonus vs HI? Or something?

I am really happy, that some people appreciate the work.
Working only with Triggers is unfortuenly a very big restriction. Many of them do not even work, because Esemble Studio never ported them properly from AOM.
This resulted in me not to be able to change any Attack Values like Damage, Range, ROF, or Bonuses without causing incompabilities, thus turning this into a full mod instead of a map pack :(

I'm playing a lot of these maps on the Nilla, the balances you made make the Nilla a fairly ok version with these maps, it seems to play ep without Asian civs. When will you put other additional maps?
