Multiplayer game/Esports study

  • Quote

Post by TheDJAB »

Hello! I’m Marc from the University of Bern. Someone on the ESO-Community Discord server recommended that I post this here.
I’m a gamer and esports athlete, playing Smash Bros. Ultimate locally, and I’m currently working on my master thesis. I made a survey with a small online game and some questions and I would like to survey people who play multiplayer games. The survey takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. It is anonymous, and we cannot track any of your data back to you. If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please DM me! Also feel free to forward this link to anyone who plays multiplayer games.

Thank you for participating and advancing the awareness of esports in the scientific community!

That survey was really interesting, I'm surprised.
I'd be interested in knowing the results.
By the way, I think you'd get different results in the balloon game if it were a 1v1 game, because the loser would be more likely to take risks to come back.

Pretty interesting study. I would say I do take a lot of risks in my games, especially if I'm playing from a disadvantageous position.

I haven't try because i never read the rule of any games (never read any tourney rules for exemple  ) and its looks like reading rules matter a lot.

Interesting survey. I hope you can reach some of the results with us afterwards. For example, how Age 3 players compare to players of other games.
