I watched those and I feel like the thumbnail for this video is a lot more pretty than the other ones. I still have a long way to go in regards to thumbnail editing, but that was a good start.

Looking good. One tip: try to make sure that there is sufficient contrast between the text-color and the background. If you can't find any fitting color, then create a semi-transparent element, on which you will display the text. Not only does it look a lot better, but people will also always be able to read it.

For the names you should use white text with black outlines so it's legible.

Thanks for the videos. I've only watched the Rohbrot v azlaak game so far, but I really enjoyed it. I also found it refreshing to hear a female voice casting, please don't be put off by one or two people. I don't know if this is possible, or if you are already doing this but I can't see it, but you may find it helpful to use aizamk's UI to assist your casting.

I actually do have the UI installed, but whenever the players play on a the non-UI-Version of a map, it doesn't do anything, but allow me to hide the progress-bar in the top right corner. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to get the UI for me even if the players do not play on UI maps? If there is a way and you, or anybody else, could tell me, I'd really, really, really appreciate it!

there is no way to use the UI if it is not played on a UI map with an observer as p3. and if the observer is an AI, it lags too

I wouldn’t say there have been any huge meta swings. One important thing to note is that all civs now start with fixed crates (the same crate start every game). This has made the game a lot more reliable. This patch has seen some minor native buffs so we’re seeing more native shipments. At the same time, the nat xp trickle has been removed.

The new patch is still on beta but I expect it will be released soon.
