ESOC AoEO Spartan Wars 2018

THIS IS SPARTA!

Quicksearch, which is also called Sparta along with the leaderboards are now available in Age of Empires Online! With this large announcement we want to keep the excitement going. Sign ups are now open for the next Age of Empires Online tournament! The tournament will begin January 22nd. There is a $500 cash prize which will be divided between the top 4 placements in the tournament.

There is one requirement to enter the tournament. Players must have at least 1 win on the leader boards in order to enter the tournament. The tournament staff has the right to make exception's for specific players that did not meet this rule but wish to enter the tournament. More information about the tournament rules will be coming in the following days. As always Age of Empires Online is completely free to play!

So aoeo has been played by less than 40 people in total?

pvp ranked in 2 days, since the leader board was released in that pic.

but yes aoeo has always had a smaller pvp community compared to other games, but a great community.

Uhh, why are these guides on a different forum than where the tournament is hosted?

good point ede, ill post them here as well later. also, if requested, im willing to do some quick video guides on the basics! what yould you guys like to see? general guide for the early game? in depth civ specific guides?

@Carnage an early game guide and civ specific guides would be awesome. Don't even need to be long, just enough to get the gist of things.

It would also help to know things like how far away your dropsite needs to be before it's worth it to consider building a new one and other small not-so-intuitive stuff like that. This type of thing is the thing that eluded me the most when I was first trying to learn the game over the summer.

exactly what your asking for. Only thing is this video is on a older version of aoeo where a few things were different. But this still works pretty well for what you're asking for.
