certainly not the best, but the series being so competitive would be better off having 2 extra matches (bo7) ')
They played in RO32, and they certainly are talented to play till say RO8' and would have given much more entertaining matches than many others who advanced further..

I think groups that determine where in the brackets you will be seeded is optimal. That way the lower level players might get bashed in a group, but then they''ll be placed somewhere low in the bracket where (hopefully, most likely) people of their skill level are, so that they can still have a few meaningful games.

The problem with a group stage is that its really hard to schedule it. Just look at the ro256.. It''s probably not really possible to do group stages.
