It sucks because someone got caught out violating a rule of the tournament? It's their fault, you want someone to blame for it now 'sucking' - blame snowww himself.

It is indeed unfortunate that a decent person has been kicked out so early on, but snowww was well aware of the rules and still chose to violate

but a good player or not, no one should be exempt. Such things would leader to further situations just like this

One draamaqueen is out, other of the best is banned and many haven't even signed up.
If samwise decides to leave tourney for some reason, Roby can play rest of tournament drunk as fuck and still win easy.
erik would be important for entertainment but rules are rules etc

What is the process for determining if a player was smurfing or not? I am not questioning the decision, I am just legitimately curious on how this stuff works.

For instance, is it something like, "this guy is playing like snowww lets ask him if he is snoww?" Just curious.

the rules dont say that snowww has to be disqualified because he signed up with a second account.

Pretty sure they wouldnt ban someone without definitive proof...

I agree with the admin decision, nobody is above the law. I was just wondering what said proof was because I was not watching the game(s) where this occurred. I am not saying there is no proof, evidently there was, I am just clueless to what said proof is.

Disqualification Rules

3.1 - All external exploits and game modification software are forbidden. The tournament administration reserves the right to disqualify a player for use of any exploits to gain an unfair advantage.

3.2 - Exploits include but are not limited to: Map Hacks, Trainers, Explorer Revival Glitch, OOS / Intentional Lag (Stacked downloads or other game crashing exploits).

That doesnt clearly say that the first account has to be disqualified.
One could also read it as "The second account has to be removed from the tournament."
And as it could be read in that way, it should be. Because the ones who formulated the rules, didnt do that properly. That s why i think, one should vote pro defendant. But it doesnt matter anyways, cause snowww pulled back ...

They found him because of his IP adress. When you post on a forum, admins can find your IP and they saw that beanoob's IP and snowwww one was the same.
