Yea hopefully they won't rush it.
Indeed, definitive editions are definitely easier to make, they may and perhaps should wait and take their time not to screw it up as the expectations and the overall hype are enormous. 2017 is for AoE:DE, 2018 may be for AoE4, but most likely AoE2/3:DE, I'd imagine. 2019?

Like, "oh fallout 4 is coming out next year let's try extra hard not to die before then." And then, "nice, we made it, good job body." I suppose I do this with movies and albums and books too.
I bet you're going to be the most careful person on earth in the upcoming year or two

Seems to me like they're going to be taking the time they need to be taking. Probably Aoe1:DE into aoe2:DE into aoe3:DE although I could see 2 and 3 swapped, and then by the end they'll release aoe4. I just hope for the love of god that it'll be medieval or at least not a world war game.
But hey, I know relic makes world war games, yet it seems like they wouldn't want to make a game that competes directly with their own company of heroes 2 game, right?? RIGHT? please let me be right.
I know Age of Empires since im 8-9 or so but actually never played it until last years, I got 4 months Online Gaming experience and maybe 2-3 months offline yet im so happy to hear this news about AoE4...I'm questioning myself how those guys who waited for years for aoe 4...must be an amazing feeling! Still so hyped!
If you see any mistakes in my grammar/vocabulary or whatever, please correct me. I really appreciate it

This is the best thing ever to happen - The trailer uses a surprising large amount of aoe3 artwork. It's not a blizzard tier trailer though. - It's funny how microsoft complete denies the existance of aoeo both in the trailer and by calling this aoe4 and not aoe5 or something - I hope it won't be pay to win or have any of that shit.

well, company of heroes is from what i heard an excellent rts once it had most of its problems fixed. i quite enjoyed the dawn of war II campaign, and a bit of dawn of war 1 but didn't like the resource system in either of those games (last stand was awesome though)
