Anyway, I thought it would look like that https://liquipedia.net/starcraft2/Raven ... f_the_Void) in which case you do need to know a bit about the game and the competitive gameplay to write a wikia.

It's both. But the point is, that even though they are the wiki team, they're not gonna write (all) the articles. The articles are supposed to come from the community. So if you want to write a strat like that one you linked, you can do it, they will just review it for grammar or so that people don't just upload unrelated or offensive stuff.

Most of the stuff on that wiki is either useless or straight up wrong because they let people post whatever they want without reviewing it. The page for the Ottomans is a great example: http://ageofempires.wikia.com/wiki/Ottomans
