Yea I'd prefer for it to cater less to nerds who practice 24/7

Precisely one of the reasons we chose for a small map pool was that it made it much more feasible for players to practice the maps and prepare strategies for their matches. This should increase the quality of play across the board. I think this runs counter to what @gibson says about it catering to "the nerds who practice 24/7". These rules make it better for everyone involved in the tournament.

Indeed, I think the previous rules catered more towards the more active player; rather than the other way around. If you were inactive, you would often come into a series completely oblivious to the map pool and with no plan in mind. At least now everyone should know what the map pool is and have at least some idea of what they're going to play on at least some of the maps.

I think at this point, with this kind of small community, entertainment is more important. Same maps over and over again are gonna be boring to play, cast and watch. We'll see if it brings some insane gameplay, but I doubt it.

Next you'll want players to play AoE3 games to get seeded into an AoE3 tournament, pff.

Math actually works out pretty well, looks like you have about 2.5 hours of free time every week after that

Nvm checked his age. All you have to have is 12 hours per week to count as full time in the states.

fairly accurate for the information given. However I'm a business management major so I only spend like 20-25 hours a week on school, 30 max. The other time is spent watching tv, exercising, and watching sports with my friends( I don't count that as going out cause it's always at my neighbors apartment.)

Yeah thats the average per semester, probably 3rd or 4th year so you are past those annoying labs. Fun times college I will say this, enjoy however much time you have left. I don't think I touched a video game 2-5th year, partied daily and worked 40 hours a week and I miss it every day haha.
