Hello everyone!

I hope you are all excited with the upcoming Autumn Tournament. With expectations not to miss any streamed game here, we have created a calendar, that you can keep in track all the games before they start. The calendar will be refreshed automatically, so you won't have to edit it yourself. All ESOC events will be also added there! Just log in your Google Account and paste the following link on your browser. A pop-up window will ask you if you want to add that calendar, click add. It should appear in the right column under 'Other Calendars'. Make sure the box next to it is ticked. If you don't want to miss anything from ESOC, click below!
It should look like this: Image
Absolutely awesome. Makes notifications easier, integrates nicely with your personal or work agenda and makes it easier to check the schedule on mobile. Thanks for maintaining this @BrookG

I recommend not integrating this into your work agenda.

Nice work. I remember I worked on something similar some time ago but I gave up due to time constraints. Good to see it finished at last.

It should appear in the right column under 'Other Calendars'. Make sure the box next to it is ticked.

Click the sign with the three horizontal lines, and check if the box for ESOC Calendar is ticked. The process is the same on mobile. @MaJoOorchEf_GaZa

should I have to log in to the calendar? I'm already logged in on ESOC website but on the calendar it's showing only one red line of today at my present day and time should it have to show some information about tournament timing or something like that? is there my settings are wrong please guide me

There are no games scheduled for this week yet, unfortunately. Correctly you are seeing nothing there.

Doubt even half the people using it are still looking at this thread.

That's kind of the point of this thing:

For me a relevant question would be who uses the active threads, lol. Perhaps we have some Google statistics on that. I have never once used it, "Unread posts" does all I need but that's probably because I try to read everything.

It looks like Google analytics doesn't really track that well since they are always new unique links over there. However, it looks like the vast majority of traffic goes Homepage -> viewtopic.php directly, which means they're either clicking on the newspost topic or the active topics links. Comparatively it looks like only ~3% of traffic goes homepage -> unread posts. Even going directly into browsing specific forum section is more used than the Unread posts.

I use active threads. It's one click less from the home page and it's a nice overview.

For me a relevant question would be who uses unread posts when active threads is the same thing without an extra click? :hmm:

So, @BrookG has done a great job getting the calendar loaded up and maintained. Is there a way we can put his work to better use? Parse the data and display it in a simple box on the homepage? Doesn't need to be complex at all.

Active topics don't show only a few ones.

For me it's not a matter of clicks as I have ESOC Your posts bookmarked, then I check unread posts. It's bettar!

Not an extra click for me personally, but I understand it would be for people new to the site. I always have a tab open with the unread posts from eso-community, I never really visit the home page.

Are you telling me there are multiple reasonable ways to use the website?

Clearly MY way is the only valid and acceptable method
