Hey fellow ESOCians!
Media Team has been working day and night to get the tournament schedule, casted and maintaining the schedule. Even with consistent efforts, we lack time to able to perform certain tasks like, uploading videos on YouTube, availability to answer questions on various platforms etc.
We are looking for new teammates to strengthen our team. Everyone is encouraged to apply and join our team.
Positions available:
YouTube content creator and an assistant who works on YouTube along MCJim. You need to keep the content on YouTube up to date. This mainly exists out of exporting streams to YouTube.
News post manager: You working close with the tournament manager and me together. You need to keep track of currently needed news posts and talk to our news post writers. Review the news posts before they get posted. Keep the topic on track after its posted.
Social Media Manager: You need to keep track and create awareness using social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Discord and reddit. As well you represent the media team on the forums. This goes together with other tasks within the Media Team.
Stream / Coordinator: You will focus on maintaining a schedule of casters availability in accordance with the scheduling threads. Also, work on ESOCTV Twitch to deliver best quality stream to the audience.
A brief on Role of Media Team:
The Media team produces the largest events in the AoE3 community and handles everything that goes with that. We have a forum with high visibility where your work can be seen and promoted. We also have a dedicated YouTube, Twitter, Twitch and Facebook page making it a complete stack to work on media and marketing. We need more people who are interested in running large events and leveraging our network to reach as many AoE3 players as possible.
Being a media team member is an unpaid and often tedious position. You will not receive any benefits when it comes to tournaments, events, or otherwise. Please only apply if you genuinely want to help ESOC’s effort and you expect to be active in doing so.
To be eligible, you must:
- Have an ESOC account that is at least 6 months old. More is a bonus.
- Have a Discord account.
- Have a Google account.
- Work with a team of people efficiently.
- Respect the media team guidelines.
- Be able to remain calm under stressful situations.
- Be able to take constructive criticism.
- Have an understanding of ESOC’s goals and intentions.
- Enjoy helping others even with obvious or mundane questions and situations.
- Be available on ESOC and Discord for extended periods of time most days.
- Have effective written/typed communication.
- Be more or less fluent in English.
