Fortunately it's not the Zoi Patch anymore. I wouldn't have played with the bs changes.

So you admit you were wrong and zoi did a good job at the end of the day? Or do you just change your mind because of the prize pool?

I didn't change my mind, he just removed all the bad changes and kept the patch close to the RE.

I really hope this event ends up being a total success. They key will be bringing all those retired or semi-retired top players back in their shape: samwise, H2O, BS_OP...

But I'm not sure it's the best map pool cause I think we should use the very best: Manchuria, Hudson, Arkansas...those nobody would complain about. And Deccan? Wow

I like this map pool, it brings a lot of diversity to the table. Those maps are great too, but they all sort of support the same type of playstyle, whereas these maps can support a wider variety of strategies without hurting the "standard" strategies all that much, either.

Not sure why so many people hate deccan, its a nicely designed map that almost never bugs and leads to a completely different and diverse style of play than on most maps.

In the end the patch is decent so I guess in a way you can say that, however it took him months to remove the bad changes which isn't what I would call a "good job".

Okay, chill with the patch discussion stuff. Let's be happy and celebrate this special tournament together. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all!

Important question: Who's going to be my drinking buddy since @somppukunkku won't be there  ? It seems @Challe may be a contender, but can he keep up with me?
