Well you need to spend at least 2 entier week-ends to do that.

Eh. On a Saturday I'm sure you can knock out 10 games in 2-3 hours. Not even an entire day.

Are you just complaining because you're going to have to risk your #2 elo? :P

Hes probably exaggerating but old players playing 15 rated games whilst theyre likely busy with life stuff and Lack of players to play, seems abit tough. Especially as theyve gotta do some unr first to actually get their skill back.

Let's keep in mind that everyone who signed up will have to play these 15 games... So it makes it much easier to find games since there's an incentive

I don't know. Maybe 50 for the qualifiers, and then more. It means that 15 out of these 50 games will be irrelevant for my preparation if I actually prepare.

So you're gonna play games, but you don't want to play games? :hmm:

Rated and unrated games aren't the same.

Anyone that would rank in the top 64 players will definitely have created time for 15 games in 31 days. You wont be good enough to make the top 64 if you arent playing at least 1 game every 2 days, imo. (a few people are exceptions)
Were talking about less than 4 games per week. I just played 4 games vs Jerimuno in the last hour.

well, the 15 games shouldve been counted only for EP QS. That would've been legit. Now it's actually irrelevant as diarouga says, although perhaps for a different reason.

Sadly there's no way to detect games played on quick search

there is a way, the rec recorder tool does it. if it's a hosted game, it shows your hc level. if it's a qs game, it shows -1. So if that app can do it, there must be a way. Also I thought that JP Elo does it, too.

The homecity level is stored in every recorded game afaik (we currently have over 6k unique recs and every single one have the homecity level)
You can however attach a QS recorded game and I will check in the database if it have the homecity level

And JP elo doesnt distinguish QS games, the agecomm stats/api doesnt store/displays it
Although you still can tell if the game was been played using a randommap set (both lobbies or QS) or a pre-selected map just by looking at the first letter of the map name, if it is uppercase then the map was be been pre-selected, otherwise it was selected randomly from mapset (doesnt work for all maps and it is RE-only atm because we fixed it on EP :hmm: )

You have to use the Age3XRec Renamer tool. If you open a QS game, it says -1 for HC level. If you open a hosted game, even if hosted on std or random maps, it shows the HC level.

Oh, looks like you are right :o
(We are using a default value if the homecity level is -1, that is why every single rec have a homecity level :hmm: )
That is nice, maybe we could show it in the rec details here :hmm:

I don't see a reason why he would play on my account in tourney, we are no bad bois.
He might play casual games on my account if we happen to be drunk at his place in Finland again, otherwise you're pretty safe from that I'd say.

A) Current EP Elo (1v1) - A player’s ESOC Patch Elo rating at the time signups close.
B) Max JP Elo (1v1) - a player’s highest ever achieved JP Community Elo rating.

Calculated as follows: (A x 2 + B) / 3. The player with the highest calculated rating will be the top seed, the second highest rating will be the second seed and so on.

suggestion
Current and max EP elo (1v1) + B
