lol these are all great ideas

Probably. Ports can hardly support two town centers in early colonial, let alone three. Although it would be fun to see 3 TC CM with water behind it.

I like how India with double TCs and a defensive Agra can just chop wood and mass villagers and not run out of hunts / mines like other civs that will try to boom, and also not get killed. Trickle meta incoming

Meanwhile China gets one more villager from Northern Refugees card :uglylol:

Imagine jerpulli strats with 2 TCs on coast.

At least land boom is given a buff too. It will be an interesting tournament.

Iro great house card makes a return to the meta perhaps? I do miss that old FI build being viable with the 4light cannon, 16 tomas plus big buttons...

Ottoman fast revolt? It'll be faster than usual since you have more gatherers, and if the opponent is making vils from the second TC they will be slower in the early game.

Just the threat of the FR might be enough to prevent the opponent from booming too hard, and it would be easy to instead do an FI or fortress timing if it looks like the opponent will be prepared for the revolt.

Mosque plus vil train speed upgrade right at the start seems like it would be pretty good as well, possibly better than a TP?

With how there's only 34 players signed up at the moment, i assume the first round (RO64) isn't going to be streamed?

@Riotcoke the event and ro32 matches will still begin at 15:00 GMT (that's when round 1 always starts). if the few particular ro64 matches in question seem like they will be close, there's still the potential they're streamed. likely will just begin with ro32 though.
