Yeah not to mention you can exept some specific civ in each map with current rules, while with counter pick you could face civs that don't normally match the map

Can't believe I actually signed up to play this game.

Also very nice to include every map but the NWC ones (which felt a bit repetitive to me during the LAN).

Damn it, with how much other top players hate these maps this tournament would be a free win! Too bad I’ll be on a plane during the tournament :(

Thank you! I made the map pool in an attempt to avoid maps from the LAN and the previous weekend cup and in an attempt to piss off Kaiserklein as much as possible.

And, obviously, you can't choose the same civilization twice :hmm:

Not sure if it was intended but this has to be one of the funniest non-LAN related posts of the month

It was a coinflip between you and diarouga. I figured you were just as selective in your map preference as him.

the map pool for the ro8 might make a good show for a rigged somali vs kaiserklown rematch, but i dont like having repeat mu's so it's hard for me to make it a definite!

gentlemen below, thank you for submitting your civs to me already. you are free to change your selection around from now until this Friday, at 23:59 GMT. after that, your selection is locked and cannot be changed!

gentlemen below, please note you have until this Friday, July 26th, at 23:59 GMT, to submit your 3 civilization choices to me. keep in mind that the order matters, you can review the rules and map pool here. if you fail to give me your civs, i will not seed you into the bracket!

gentlemen below, you have not signed up with a valid ESO multiplayer account. the entire tournament will be played on ESO and NOT gameranger, so you must have an ESO account to be seeded into the bracket!

thanks boys, and cya this sunday!
