When losing some games on purpose can make you win more money than you would if you don't you know there's an issue...
I probably won't play in this tournament anyway because I don't have a lot of time these days but I don't know what's wrong with the staff, it feels like people listen to every noob suggestion nowadays.
500$ for a tier 2 tourney, really ? That's almost what bsop got for winning the first ASC and that's 10 times more than what people earn when the reach the finals of small events like week-end tourneys, mono civ or TWC tourneys.
Likewise, I just don't know why people can't understand that the EP 7 is simply dumb, with random unit buffs and native TP giving exp lol, it's just not aoe3 anymore

I like the tournament divisions idea. Players will be distributed based on elo seeding, but is this evenly over the 4 divisions or how?

Paying multiple places is good as I have always advocated, although I think you have gone too far here as Dia sort of said. 5-8th place prizes of advanced should probably go to pro division.

Losing on purpose seems a flaw in this system to me as well. If you think you won't make it into the top of the pro division, why not try to get in advanced and top 3 there (same amount as 5-8 in pro division). Also, what happens with people signing up with a lower-elo / smurf account to get into the advanced league instead of pro.
