I already use the trickle, I don't think it's nearly enough to compensate for the loss of flexibility on a 1 village no tp start.

ofc its a worse crate start, but same for india and japan? now china will get affected by randomness as well for once, and they got cover mode back and a pretty good 4 changdao 2 meteor hammer batch in the war academy to make up for it (which will be much stronger than expected).

good job with the bug fixes and work on development. About the other changes, that will be interesting to see how it plays out I guess. Some are very questionable and i wonder if its tested enough or just trial tested via a live EP...
Its by the way one of the changes made in FP 1.2 back in the days, for a reason. Those guys did think things through. But I guess its typical for many people to try to reinvent the wheel themselves, rather than start by evaluating previous work and go from there.
Yes, it took some time, at least they finally saw the light and realized the tres/nats should be fixed. First of all you can TP half of times just like before. Second you probably have to just change strat and include colonial. It should be better now with the keshik+steppe army.

It’s not the same for India and Japan. Japan can still chop for whatever they want at a reasonable pace. The banner army changes are not needed and only serve to make China OP on the wood start. But if you want a tp now i guess you ahve to chop in transition, which isn't too bad, since it only slows you down by what 20 sec? But in return you get a cover mode monk and additional shipment income, which means by sending 9 pikes if you're going for that you can deter any cav pressure, while the cover mode monk soaks up any range damage that age 2 pressure can put on.

This patch has a disprortionate amount of game-breaking changes lol. Some of them are quite obviously just straigth up bad.
