Does Tabben have DE? A serious question.
I think I havent seen him once in DE. Seeding him was problematic.

I’ve heard in many cultures the number 28 is a sign of fertility and favor. No coincidence I suppose with the 28th seed here.

Someone hire me
If I were a petal
And plucked, or moth, plucked
From flowers or pollen froth
To wither on a young child’s
Display. Fetch
Me a ribbon, they, all dead
Things scream.

Re: Legacy Tournament info
Updated the OP with server rules. Games should be played on the server with the fairest ping for both players.

Re: Legacy Tournament info
For the sake of discussion what constitutes a fair server. If on server X player A has 45 ping and Player B 50 ping while on server Y player A has 50 ping and Player B has 45 ping, what constitutes a fair ping?Kaiserklein wrote:Updated the OP with server rules. Fine line to something great is a strange change.
Do you really have to...princeofcarthage wrote:For the sake of discussion what constitutes a fair server. Good thing that there are only like 8 servers and the situation you described could never happenprinceofcarthage wrote:Its an example lol it could be 40-80gibson wrote:This is aoe, not a shooter. No one gives a shit about 5 ping.

Re: Legacy Tournament info
The rule in the OP just states that the games should be hosted in good faith. If one of the players thinks the other is trying to force an unfair server, he can PM a tourney admin and the server will be picked by us.
So I'm not trying to get people to play with a perfectly fair ping. I'm just saying admins can take action if needed, and letting people know that they don't have to let their opponent take advantage of an unfair ping. This is also to prevent post game complaints about unfair ping, as in if you clicked ready in that lobby you accept the server choice.

Re: Legacy Tournament info
Going to clarify / remind the way streaming tourney games works.
- If your game is going to be live casted, you will be PM'd about it. That way you'll know you should allow spectator mode with no delay.
- By default, if no one reaches out to you, games are casted off recs. No need to wait for tourney admins to tell you about it.
- Please have either you or your opponent send the recs to admins as soon as your series ends.
- Don't stream your games first person, don't spoil the results, don't send recs to anyone but admins.

Re: Legacy Tournament info
How to please a tourney admin?Server rules
As I don't want to bother finding the best server for every single series, I will trust players to pick a fair server. If there is any problem regarding server selection, e.g your opponent refuses to select a server with a fair ping, please a tourney admin, and we'll force a server pick.
