"qualifier #1" implies there'll be other dates to compete and qualify?

Hi i have two questions, i did not understand if you have to use the Italians and the Maltese together at least once in a series or if you have to use them in the whole series?
The second question is, what is meant by a better known name? For example i have used for a long time on steam the name provenzano_dj indeed i have used this name more than mine on the forum, can i use Provenzano or do i have to use the nick of the forum?

you must use either Italians or Maltese once in a series (except for the best of ones).
I don't think you need to change your Steam name to match your forum name. Both names appear along with your signup, since it's associated with your forum account.

Another clarification (i've been asked this several times)...you can play in as many of the qualifiers as you see fit (unless you have already qualified).

Whats Prize Pool distribution?

Prize Pool:
1st- $2000
2nd-$1500
3rd $1000
4th $500
5/6th - $350
7/8th - $150
Updated the rules. All donations will go to the prize pool. So it could grow quite substantially. Focus will go towards the bottom first.

Sad news! I guess more chances to get far into the tournament for other pro's now, but would have been nice to see Big Kaiserdawg's playstyle for Italy and Malta.

Are there any other civilization rules besides needing Italian/Malt once a series?
I guess if it's $6000 and you get to play in all the qualifiers (I won't qualify nor come close to it), could be fun to play in. Guess I need to pick up the DLC though.

What's actually the reason for the mandatory use of Italy and Malta? Just to show the new civs to the audience?
