It's been that way since as long as I can remember playing them, a good connection is easy to get in france and a decent PC is a few hundred euros so what's the issue?

Tit has a point, Idk where he lives but its a real issue in some places. For a while I lived in a place with only one option of internet provider that would give me 500ms ping, while across the street there was standard good internet from other companies.. you cant do shit about it, other then moving.
