@Hazza54321 don’t listen to these guys feel free to donate me your points
By the way because of the delay are my points just locked on tabben vs kynesie now? Because I wanted to bet on mitoe vs hazza but now I can't do that.

I cancelled kynesie vs tabben so that you can all bet on the other matches. Make 'em count
Re: Autumn 2018 betting discussion thread
Aaaand it's readded since apparently they are replaying the entire series. FYI kynesie won the first game but had used a hotkey macro that is not allowed in the tournament. Controversy always seems to find this kid
Looks like they're playing tomorrow (Monday) 18:30 GMT

Richest 3 have near half of the total wealth. Capitalism. I also wonder if 20/80 applies in the chart.

Re: Autumn 2018 betting discussion thread
I would call it the tournament of upsets, but all ESOC tournaments seem to share this quality somehow. Needless to say the betting event has been... eventful. It was Snuden who started strongest, but he was quickly neutralized by his overconfidence in Lukas_L99. Then it was Jerimuno on top for a good 5 matches, then somppukunkku for a couple of matches and then Jerimuno again. Kid was looking strong, being the first to break 10k, but when Hazza54321 beat PrinceofKabul 3-1 (not really an upset?) he was shutdown. It was HUMMAN, then, who looked like he might have the last laugh, but then the first upset happened. Hazza54321 and Mitoe, 2 players who obviously had no regard for anyone's imaginary betting points, played a series that, in hindsight, perhaps went as we all should've expected. A couple of questionable picks and fairly quick games later it was 4-0.
3 people did seem to expect the upset. Of course, one of them was zoom. After match 14, he found himself in first place with 25878 points. It was looking like another zoom victory. Statistically, you just can't let him get above 20k points. The piece of shit just runs away with it at that point.
But zoom wasn't the only one in on the joke. A challenger appeared. Somppukunkku, not at all new to being at the top of the betting standings (if I recall correctly he won the very first betting event), slammed his name into the top 3 once again and never looked back. The very next match, when snowww beat Kaiserklein 4-3, he found himself 23000 points ahead of zoom. A historical 33000 point swing between 2 main contenders.
The crazy part, well one of the crazy parts, was that snowww should have won 4-1. The game was pretty much over when zoom, sitting on the very same sofa as myself, got up and walked away, cursing Kaiser and his lack of Abus guns while I still couldn't get over his lack of Silk Road. But Kaiser, at that point, had decided to finally make Otto's best unit, and snowww seemed less invested in keeping his army alive than he had been before. Things seemed to add up and Kaiser somehow pulled through. Had the 4-1 happened, Somppukunkku would be the all-time record holder of most points won in a single match. He would have profited a whopping 34000 points.
With the 4-3 result, he only won 25000. 17000 ahead of HUMMAN and 19000 ahead of FreshDumbl3dore who was in third place, he was sitting pretty. But as in all ESOC betting events, current standings are barely even an indication of future standings. If one thing is certain, it's that zoom will end up winning in the end. With only 2000 points to his name it's looking unlikely now, but never count the kid out. Anyway somppu, our glorious leader, lost 8000 points in the latest match, whereas both FreshDumbl3dore and HUMMAN profited 9000 and 6500 respectively. Somppu's still ahead, but it's a very tight race. The top 3 are within 3000 points of each other, and beyond that we have guyshir and Sargsyan lurking in the shadows. Typically, in semi-finals and finals, big swings happen. Somppu is sweating. Be ready for anything.
All have been awarded with (another) 1000 points to bet with for the last 3 matches. No more charity after this! (donations are still allowed).
Bets are open for the semi-finals.
Good luck to all!
