I watched the games. The game on Cascade was totally hopeless, but I think aiz could have won the hudson and the florida ones if he didn't troll (better unit composition and better shipments).

I noticed that he built the firepit and used to exp dance to get his 3v shipment faster. Is it worth, and would it be worth with Aztecs too? Can someone do the maths for me, I'm too lazy

Also, would it be viable too put 4 vills on the firepit as Aztecs? When you think about it, you have wp, ie 2 vills, who's iddle until you build the firepit, so I guess wasting some VS for it would be worth.

It depends on whether or not it will affect your age up. Usually you're not going to get the shipment fast enough to be worth idling a few vills for 20 seconds while you dance, but if your hunts are dead on top of the firepit maybe it's not that bad. The real value will come in Colonial on your 4th or 5th shipment, since they will be a few seconds faster.

I remember I tried an Iroquois build where you do a lot of dancing with the firepit in Colonial and early Fortress (didn't try discovery, pretty sure farm is just better), but eventually decided a 2nd TP is just a better investment.

tbh I did make a lot of mistakes, especially last game, but all in all I've always felt like the WC nerf (heavy cav tag) hit sioux pretty hard. feels like you need to use him like a daimyo now and keep him in the back, or you lose a large portion of your ability to take the initiative with speed. I'm sure the poor guy died at least 3x each game in situations where he'd normally be fine.

There was never a reason to make this change. There were always a reason not to make it, though. Ever since it was made, I've been hoping that it wouldn't break the unit. In my experience, thus far, it seems like it might have done just that. Considering reverting this with EP6.

snare can be taken away if necessary, but they need the warchief back. sioux has always been weak vs a pure goon mass (particularly port ones due to range and how sioux can't wall), and having their cav being unable to catch up to goons because of a warchief that dies in one shot only makes that weakness of theirs even more exploitable.
