New Steam Key

Hey Guys

i got a few free Keys recently....problem is if i uninstall and activate the "new product" i dont have to type in the key and it still uses my old one! I deleted the "DigitalProductID" in the registry but still nothing! steam support sux therefore im asking you guys ') any ideas?

You can also install AoE3 on a different PC or laptop and make your account there. Then login on your main PC.

hmh i guess i can try that....but with 4 keys i gonna run out of PC's

idk if this is related but... have you tried launching nilla after deleting the registry entry? Remember that you can create a new account for every nilla cd key, so logging onto tad to try create an account will achieve nothing (I think)

Well idk. when i click on the Play Button on Steam it shows the current Prductkey and its always the same so it does not even work when i start Nilla....with all the smurfs on EsO there must be someone who knows what i should do

Have you tried the following paths while deleting the PID?

This depends on whether you installed the game via cd or steam.[/span]

no more PID under those paths i checked both could it really be that complicated?

im not familiar with steam at all, but i guess you can create different steam accounts (5-6 accs) and activate every key on every acc separately for new eso account. How did you get the free keys btw? i want to get a smurf acc

key giveaways on stream... i gues i could do that with the other accounts but i first activated the keys in my main account so they are "taken" if you get what i mean

Just run the script provided here, it will automatically clean your registry it worked for me

If this doesn't work I would try reinstalling the game and cleaning the registry again.

i really dont know!!! steam support says that i need to activate them with another account....problem is i allready entered the key in my main account so it obviously not works...
installing on an other computer does not help because if install steam ther i have to log in with my account....wich has aoe3 in with that key in it -.- i dunno tryed on my 2 laptops

so what you actually did was burn some keys. more than one. These were some very ineffective give aways. this is very sad

did you try to create your new account on vanilla or tad? i think you can't do it through tad, since it's an expansion

True, you have to make your account on Vanilla.

Surely not, if it''s not working for you, you can always ask microsoft to send you replacement keys. I think they don''t bother too much doing that.
