My son got this error when signing on to ESO online after downloading age of empires III online. Any suggestions on what needs to be fix this error?

maybe you have already used the cd key to create an account?

I'm not certain what you mean by downloading it online. Did you actually buy the game? If not, you will need to buy a legitimate Steam copy in order to get a valid, unused CD key to create an ESO account with.

Turns out the CD key was bad, had to buy on steam. Thanks everyone

I bought AOE3 complete edition on steam on 1 Sep 2014 but cannot create an account as it has been used by someone else. I have been stucked with single player ever since. Is there any recourse for this?

Are you 100% sure? Does somebody else have access to your Steam account? Did you launch the vanilla version to create an account?

Yes, i have the PID and CD key which i entered at "https://esoaccounts.agecommunity.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fAccountManagement%2fDefault.aspx". They provided me a ESO account with the name of neatly12 which i had no hand in making. I bought AOE3 with a couple of my friend through the bundle but I was the only 1 unable to create an ESO account. This persisted since 2014 but I only realised the problem now.

Is this thread still active? I've been trying to create an account, but I get the cursed 101 error despite starting it in vanilla and entering my valid steam product key.

hi guys, i need help


I cant create an account of that multiplayer, it says error 101 and I just bought the game in steam

I want to make a new acct just for 1v and PR Since jgals was originally my brother( It’s his school nickname) so I don’t really like the name. Bought a new copy of the game on steam but was unable to make a acct due to the 101 error. Even used the script given. Apparently stream issued BS keys. I’m wondering if they resolved this
