Error 101 ESO Account
Error 101 ESO Account
I have a problem creating ESO account, I bought the game a few years ago on Steam, but I had never tried to create an ESO account to play online. I recently tried to create ESO account and error 101 appeared, saying that it was not possible to create more than one account for that CD Key.
When you try to recover the account from the site: "https://esoaccounts.agecommunity.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fAccountManagement%2fDefault.aspx"
It appeared that there was already a registered account for that CD Key and Product Key and apparently it was an account registered by a Frenchman. (I'm brazilian)
I believe my license may have been cracked in some way.
How do I proceed to be able to access, or recover my account?

Hello, if you've really never made an account, these are the steps you need to take:
1. Run the following registry script: http://agecommunity.com/downloads/AOE3_ ... ry_101.zip
2. Run AoE3 Vanilla (no expansions)
3. The game should now ask you for a CD-key. Enter the CD-key which you can find in Steam (LIBRARY -> GAMES -> right click AoE3: Complete Collection -> View CD key)
4. Go to Multiplayer->ES Online. Select "Create New Account", fill out the form and you should be done

Since yesterday, the AoE3 keys on Steam have been resupplied, but this new batch of generated keys appears to be unusable for multiplayer. It is essentially impossible to obtain a valid AoE3 key at this point, we'll have to see whether Steam and MS act on the issue.

Hello, the process is exactly the same on Windows 10. What doesn't work for you specifically?
Re: Error 101 ESO Account
You can remove Keys manually by following these steps:
Open Regedit:
Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\microsoft games\age of empires and delete folder 1.0
Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\microsoft games\age of empires and delete folder 1.0
Age of Empires = Vanilla
Age of empires 1 = War Chiefs
Age of Empires 2 = TAD
Delete 1.0 folder to remove the keys depending on which you want.
After this is done, continue with EAGLEMUT's step 2.
