Win+r, write down regedit.exe and click enter
You can search key words in regedit itself

you have to click on Edit menu and select Find. The Find box will let you search for items in the Windows Registry, and this includes Keys, Values, and Data

You... downloaded regedit? Regedit should come pre-installed on any windows system.
Regardless, the registry scripts at the bottom of this page will clear your product key:

Then simply relaunching the game will let you re-enter.

Re: How to find AOE3 on regedit please
Open Regedit:
Go to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\microsoft games\age of empires and delete folder 1.0
Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\microsoft games\age of empires and delete folder 1.0
Age of Empires = Vanilla
Age of empires 1 = War Chiefs
Age of Empires 2 = TAD
Delete 1.0 folder to remove the keys depending on which you want.
Try to run the game, it will ask you to enter the new Key.

Yeah, regedit shouldn't be downloaded. If you downloaded anything, delete that program and run a virus scan immediately.
