I found the fix !!!

I use Voobly instead of GameRanger and it's working :)

Well, there are a couple catches with that. As far as I'm aware, Voobly uses similar method as Windscribe so I'm not sure you'll have any less lag. Voobly is also by far the least populated platform for AoE3, having an even smaller playerbase than Gameranger, which is yet smaller than official ESO (so it might be tough to find anyone to play there). Unless there's been an update recently, Voobly also uses some custom code which makes the game incompatible with Windows XP compatibility mode, introducing a host of possible technical issues.

You should play on ESO, the official in-game platform. If you don't have access to an account for some reason, the game is going on sale in a few weeks, and you can buy the game on Steam for like 8 bucks.

I wish people played more on voobly and less on gameranger: there is a huge aoe2 community there, no FTJ, elo ladders...But this is ESO-Community so I doubt many people are interested in it,

Anyway, I think the biggest problem ESO has is FTJ issue and we need the ultimate solution. We lost thousands of potential players cause many people left after being unable to join their friend's games, Maybe a program which automatically opens the right ports? I don't know...

I would like to know : what is the "network" difference between Voobly and GameRanger ? Why Voobly works, why GR doesn't ?
I would like to understand the difference in order to try to solve my problem with GR.

EDIT : i tried, instead of using my Wi-Fi, using my 4G on my phone.
It didn't work too, i can't play on GR.
So that means that my router isn't the problem ? Is my computer the problem ?

This fix is not new. The problem is you can get lag, specially if your server is far from your location

OMG, i update this topic because i found how to play on GameRanger.

UNINSTALL HAMACHI.
If it doesn't work, try to disable useless network adapters (like Ethernet)

Now i can play, goodbye "Failed to join"...
