Problem with actualization

Hello everyone
Recently I decided to come back to aoe 3, so I installed a game and clicked "actualize the game" then the game freezes there is only the music from menu and I can't do anything because of "searching for actualization".
Can you help me? What am I supposed to do with this?

Hi, that is quite the timing; the game's built-in auto-updater is currently broken since today, which happened for like the first time in history. It is unlikely that you don't have the latest official patch in any case, since it had been released almost a decade ago (version 1.03 TAD is latest).

So you really don't have the latest official patch from 2010? It should work now since the server is back up. Can also use this: http://agecommunity.com/gameUpdates_yp.aspx
