Error when downloading DLC War chiefs

So I got the the DLC for war chiefs on DISC and when I tried to install it, this error came up. No errors when I download the Asian dinesty one.

Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks in advanced.

This occurs when the game fails to copy a file from the CD to your PC -- the most common cause of which is a scratched CD. If your CD is indeed rather scratched, you may need to buy a new copy. The complete collection goes on sale on steam periodically for $10.

Sometimes ensuring you are running the installer as admin will fix this as well -- if it's occurring before the progress bar has moved at all, that is more likely the cause.

Muskteer925 has explained it well, although you might be able to clean a scratched disk using a disk cleaning kit and fix the problem.

However, I must point out that the Warchiefs is technically an expansion not a dlc ad saying the right summoning words is key to the installation process...

Musketeer925: It stops half way through so I don't think it's beacuse of the second option. Can it be saved/does it look bad?

with a clean cloth

Your disk definitely looks savable, however it depends how deep the scratches are

Too expensive. You can use bananas and your clean cloth from your glasses if you wear one.
