Hi. I recently bought the complete collection on steam. I've downloaded the game and launched > the asian dynasties. But I cannot create a new multiplayer account?

I've been told your supposed to enter the product key you're given when you launch the game for the first time, but I have seen no such place to enter mine? I reckon this is why I can't create multiplayer account yet as it states in bottem right corner that you can only create 1 account pr product key.

Can someone assist please? Thanks in advanced.

try to go on the vanilla version (without expansions) and create an account there

Microsoft has since forfeited ownership of the eso.com domain, but you can still find the necessary registry cleanup script here: http://agecommunity.com/downloads/AOE3_Win7_Registry_101.zip
Also make sure you are using vanilla base game without expansions as tabben says.

I too am getting this error I have tried to what the wiki says many many times now and still I get the same error. the account tool says there is no account attached to my product ID. steam version AOE3 complete edition. So frustrating any help would be great.

Then it's the account tool who's wrong. The username lookup is completely broken for Steam purchases and should be ignored.
