u have 8gb ram?

try search for "adjust the appearance and performance of windows", go to the advanced tab and set some virtual memory manually on respective ssd/volume - maybe it helps

Same issue. I have 12gb ram and some hundreds of free storage space

A mate of mine also had this problem today. We started a ranked game and he got the error message.#
His C: drive is almost empty (not aoe3-related). And he has 16 g of RAM.

We then tested it in custom games, so here are our experiences for what they're worth:

1. He couldn't join when he hosted the game
2. He could join when I hosted the game.

I do not think it has anything to do with diskspace. It's just the invisible tapir rearing its ugly head...
