Multiplayer account

So I went to create an account on multiplayer and it gave me the error 101 code and I looked that up and it said I already had an account with the game key. So went to find the account associated with the game key and product id and it says there is no account made yet. So does anyone know why I can't create an account??

The account lookup tool unfortunately doesn't work very well. Did you buy the game recently on Steam, or what's the situation?
