I understand why they're hiding though, they'd just get harassed if they did show themselves

Lol who gives a shit if they're hiding? If the accusation were somehow false they would come out and say that. We don't need to hear what they have to say, the trust is broken and I won't want to watch any future tournament that they are allowed to be part of.

It kind of did the first time yes.
Anyway it's different, sirmuskets behaviour is way worse than tit's or kynesie's overall, he was flaming all over the forums too.

Indeed. They need to lay low because they just earned the equivalent of the 5th star in GTARiotcoke wrote:I understand why they're hiding though, they'd just get harassed if they did show themselves

It's not because, as a viewer, I'd like more content..... there's plenty of time until July.
Rooms should already be reserved for a fixed number of finalists. That won't affect their logistics much. Except they'd have to wait for filling in specific names for those rooms.
I think it's doable.
And it's just a moral question, really, it has nothing to do with content, streaming or anything else. Those who qualify need to do it by playing, not by filling in blanks left by disqualified players.

@Dolan Lol wtf. It's not a moral question at all, it's a logistical one

Low-cost plane tickets aren't that expensive even if you book just 30 days before the flight.
Well, plane tickets for cross-continental trips are expensive anyways. Maybe they get lucky and Wicked qualifies. ^^
I'm not sure, it might be worth checking with travelling agencies if you can exchange tickets at a later time (like switch plane tickets for trips that have the same destination, UK, but different departure locations in the USA). Come to think of it, they would still be two separate flights, so it probably makes no difference to the agency. Still, might be worth consulting with them on whether they can offer a deal that allows switching departure locations later.

Re: NWC Tournament Disqualifications - Tit and kynesie
Wait, isn't it also possible to book a flight and then later cancel it and still recoup some of the money?
Sometimes you can get a refund if you cancel. And if these matches were played in the next 2 weeks, maybe they can get refundable tickets then cancel them.

No, that isn't possible.

Re: NWC Tournament Disqualifications - Tit and kynesie
There is such a thing as a flexible ticket, but the cancellation window might be short, like a day.
Still worth checking agencies' policy on ticket cancellation and on refunds.

Imo, banning kynesie is a great loss to esoc and community. I don't think he cheated in nwc tourney (just smurfing tit - 1 game). Proof : he embarrassingly lost to kaiser, 3-4 tabben and he is a respectful player.
His unique playstyle will never replaced in aoe3 history.
Or mb he can just create new eso account

Well I bought a plane ticket to Manchester a while ago and I don't think I had the opportunity to cancel at all. In fact, my confirmation email was entirely in Russian so I'm not sure I got a ticket at all!

Grateful to have kaiser as part of this community (keep this community clean). Without him, we all are in the dark

Kynesie should just come forward and explain the situation, which may or may not lead to a shorter ban. And Tit, if he had an ounce of self-respect, should have taken the blame and asked that Kynesie be pardoned. Because Kynesie lost a spot he actually earned by playing his own games, just because he tried to help someone else.
If they did this, it's possible that this might lead to a shorter ban from future tourneys for Kynesie.
Re: NWC Tournament Disqualifications - Tit and kynesie
It's not like Tit forced him to play on his account LUL
Re: NWC Tournament Disqualifications - Tit and kynesie
LAN is such a prestigious aoe set up. Letting not qualified player such as tabben will completely affect/drop their studio reputation.
Nwc is known to be the toughest and most competitive tourny so far with double elimination to really ensure top 8 players throughout the world. So does the players should be corresponding to that

Totally agree!
Re: NWC Tournament Disqualifications - Tit and kynesie
No, obviously, it's still tournament fraud what they both did.Djigit wrote:It's not like Tit forced him to play on his account LUL
But Kynesie had already qualified, he earned his spot. He just lost it because he participated in this scheme.
I'm just saying that if either of them want to improve their sitution, that requires an action on their part.
