Because of how many people have squandered their points i've given all players 1,500 extra points to bet with.

Thank you @Riotcoke for introducing me to AOE3 betting and providing me with entertainment at no cost.

Just read people were manipulating their wagers, super lame. Seems like the betting is pretty popular and one of the only things viewers can actively do during the EPL. However, I imagine the funding will simply go away if manipulation becomes a trend. I also do not see someone taking on the responsibility of managing the betting if it has become as bothersome as it seems to be.

Do I follow my heart and go all in on the King of Kunt's or let my head direct the wager towards our Lord and Champion Slayer? Both players are pretty close to max skill level. Kaiser is among the most knowledgeable and active players in the community having established a near cult following. Raphael utilizes MU selection delay tactics and will never enter into a sub optimal game typically beating his opponent before they even green up. Will we see Raphael employ his proven strategy of slow rolling his civ selection hoping the Kunt dries up and withers before game 1 begins? Or, will our King feed off the energy of his thousands of adoring subjects and find the fortitude to ride out 20 minute MU selections while maintaining his moist composure? I can not wait to find out.

Key factors to think about for this Match:

Alcohol
Did either of them get drunk last night? Fact, The king can hold his liquor. He has been working on his hangover reduction techniques and numerous drinking matches followed by 12 hours streams has helped him hone in this skill set.
Raphael has admitted to a hangover possibly costing him a world championship. There have also been rumors that Raphael has recently determined that his drinking game is lacking but I am not sure he had proper time to improve up to Kaiser level, before today's match.

Advantage KaiserKlein.

Outside Vulnerability
Has anyone confirmed Kaiser has updated his computer software recently. There have been words passed among the talking heads that unexpected computer updates could be the Achilles heal to our King's game plan.
I have seen at least 2 contracts put out for LordRaphael's blow-dryer to go "missing" today while cruising the black web. While it seems far fetched, the Kunt does have a far extending reach into the shadow world and will not hesitate to use his contacts. A quick scan of the Kaiser's financial records would indicate that he was not able to have the contract completed in time as our Lord implemented a proxy blow dryer protocol to the "T".

Intrinsic Motivation
What have either of these players got to prove? Lord Raphael has beaten the best of the best on the largest stage. He has collected millions of cents in prize money and bagged more AOE3 groupies than I even knew existed. Literally, nothing left to prove for our Lord. However, being on top and staying on top are two different things. A recent setback and blemish on Raphael's record could be enough to light the fire and set in motion a chain of events we have never seen to retain his lone spot at the top.
Kaiser has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Looking at the ELO standings you see that LordRaphael has a commanding 34 pt lead over Kaiser and is alone atop the leader board. Clearly this metric is the golden standard of skill level and Kaiser knows that he is far behind in this regard. However, nobody has put more hours in the gym preparing for today than the sweaty Kunt. He's hungry, literally, he's been eating vegetables for dinner while streaming to maintain peak physical form. All Kaiser focus is on beating the Lord today and finally eating a solid meal.
