In a FF scenario i agree, it’s not your best option probably.

I've tried it, but altogether Spanish units in age 2 are nothing special, though you can get hussars with 57 attack once fully-upgraded in Colonial Later on definitely an option if the game is in a stalemate, obligatory card for me in all of my decks.

ive used it a fair amount in 2v2, have a couple vids on my yt if you care, if you dont feel free to ignore my comment

it has never meant to be a way to win games but rather just to stay competitive in late game. Spain doesn't have great ups so when it is not possible to dirctly make use of rods and lancers their units are generally underwhelming. Unction is supposed to compensate that and I think it works on EP.

When you beat a guy and hes surprised of your strong play (for your Unction strong) and says "nice EP Spain EleGiggle" even though you arent a Gringo...my respond always: "thank you for the compliment"
