Should we implement a permanent option to launch "double shipment patch"?
Should we implement a permanent option to launch "double shipment patch"?
Well? Seen a lot of positive feedback about this one when it was a Smackdown flavor, but now people are sad it can not be played anymore.
I'm thinking it would be a new button in ESOC Patch Launcher, "Launch 2xShipment Mod" or something, accessible from Tools and working similarly to "Launch XPMOD".
It is a worthwhile addition?

You could create a section for 'alternative patches' allowing people to play different game versions whenever they wanted
Re: Should we implement a permanent option to launch "double shipment patch"?
Well, that is effectively the Tools section right now. It could become more separated in the future if we have enough stuff to put in, so far I'm seeing a lot of "No" votes here anyway however
Re: Should we implement a permanent option to launch "double shipment patch"?
As long as there is a specific option in the launcher I think that's ok already.

I am totally interested in trying some builds in the double shipment patch. I think there are so many cool cards which we have not seen yet.

What are the arguments for not implementing it ?

Pretty much just whether it's worth the dev time and launcher UI space. The implementation would be fairly easy.

Why wouldn't you do it? I'm probably not going to play it but it doesn't affect me.

Extra work to create and maintain an additional patch type

I'm going to miss 300 damage docks and 5w boats, or 47w manors + 10v, 8v, 16v boom.

Which is why it should be up to you, Eaglemut or whoever has to take care of it, to decide whether to implement it
Re: Should we implement a permanent option to launch "double shipment patch"?
well if its easy to implement than it could be fun to make it easier to access
