Well, i have made some points in my previous post:
-2SW is a bigger nerf than 2SW+1vill (one less vill wouldn't really change much). On top of that the latter is also inconsistent, design wise.
-It nerfs the typical 3SW 700c Semi-FF more than other strategies where you send 700w first.
-Frees up one card spot in colonial.
-I guess Ger can send it 3+ times, if needed.

As far as i can tell this change would be beneficial. Not sure about what everyone else thinks. On one side you have a few players crying about Ger being OP, on the other you have other players crying about every change that is made to Ger.
Honestly, this civ is just a nightmare.

just give all civs with a colonial 5 vill shipment a 6 vill shipment 8-)

Infinite 2sw + 2 uhlans definitely nicer change than 2 sw + 1 settler or 3 sw with no uhlans.

Just keep 2 sw + 1 vill, it's fine. An infinite 2sw shipment is just straight worse.

Yes it's worse then a 5 vill shipment. The thing about germany is that you have to remember that all units are generally worse for cost than other civs so making them only have a 4 vill shipment age 2 is laughable 5 vill is fine even if it is messy.

2SW+2 uhlans is better than 5 vills. Germany overall has better value/price shipments because the 10%XP penalty doesn't really make up for all the extra uhlans germans get with their shipments until maybe in the late game. Even if you are paying 380XP instead of 345XP for your second shipments, those 35 more XP are definitely worth the 200 bonus resources that you're getting out of it.
Also only uhlans are kind of a bad deal for their cost imo. Other german units are a bit different but they are fine.

It's exponential so after like 5 shipments it's a lot more like 15 percent, so it does add up to be a lot more expensive for shipments.

I don’t think it’s exponential, or at least i have never seen any data showing that it is. Anyway my point was that 2SW+2uhlans is still an acceptable shipment for germany

Although I fail to understand why some players are mortally horrified at the mere thought of the very existance of any infinite shipment—a basic feature of the game—I wouldn't dreem of making this change, if it's so controversial. After all, there are acceptable alternatives. The same might even be true for the Macehualtin shipments.
