Democracy is a tool which aims avoid a very bad option with a very average option with the ideal it doesn't eliminate the best option. It's for moral cases of power, not the balance of a video game.

At the LAN every one was pretty chill and everyone and i mean everyone seem to get along, Meanwhile online diarouga makes a reasonable post with reasons and its turned into 'grab the popcorn' time again.

Exactly. Poland and later the Polish Lithuanian commonwealth had elective monarchy. Not that it served them well though. Also was a pretty unique case.

I am not saying they are, to some extent , some parts of the government are reflective of that.
