In-game Mute Mecanic for next patch ?

Hi people,

I've passed on IamTurk and Hazza stream when i saw the exact thing that happen to me some games. Some people are quite oppressive in the game lobby and having messages poping up all time time can be quite annoying.They were playin against Kaiserklein and when the were answering to random stuff when bunch of huss rekt the vils and reverted the game. Asking the question to you guys about a mute mechanic at least into the game so if the oppponent just abuse the chat u could mute him. I would really like that to be implented. I know that you guys are more interrested in civ balance etc ..., but i think this would be a really nice add-on on the ESCO patch.

if you pest someone you dont see his messages in game. But if someone harasses you, you should just stop playing with him

Idk sometimes it would be nice to mute mitoes monologues about being bad or kaiser saying im lucky and played badly

I stopped reading in game chat's. I cannot read, respond and manage my villagers. I pretty much only play with people that are on discord with me. If a teammate is not in discord with me, I tell them that I cannot read. That usually stops them from messaging me.

After the games end, I type GG no matter what the outcome and I immediately leave. I am not willing to hang around and listen to why I cost us the game or why I was lucky to win. So many times I was dragged into chatting with people calling me newb or saying I cheat. Simply not worth the energy to engage with anyone in chat. In the lobby, I just pest people that spam taunts and leave the lobby or kick them from it. I figure if this is how they act in the lobby, I dont want to waste my time in a game with them. My pest list is longer than my friends list and I like it that way.

i just want to mute vs taunt spamming annoying af spamming taunt 31 all day wtf ...can it be done?

Isn't there an option in settings to allow players to taunt?

There is, you can even just type !mute and that also works.
