Could we prevent unit BBs/techs from giving double/fake/bubble score? Don't see any benefits with that.

I never understand why brits had mh which produces vills and like to see manors xp change

Killing a 135 wood building and gets 81 XP is a bit strange though. Nerfing manor house HP to 1000 instead of gaining its XP should be reasonable.

Seems like Indians have gurkas urumi and mahouts (as well as sepoy) now to deal with heavy infantry. The -10% cost in caballeros shipment will be super insignificant in 1v1 now i feel as compared to +2 range.

The consulate changes are great work, I've always wondered why sending 4 siberian cossacks always felt super underwelming however this should now make India otto cons gardener hussar push a little scarier now compensating for their sepoy nerf.

Just checking "Carabineer hitpoints and attack values updated to base Ruyter stats" did these guys not upgrade just like veteran cuirassier?

Besteiro, Prussian Needle Gunner and Roger's Ranger multipliers updated respectively
This is the type of change that shouldn't be labeled as a bug fix for the Besteiros in particular. Although Japan rarely gets Besteiros nowadays, this change still helps a lot with defending early musk pushes, or even with some offensive strategies.

I think we've explained enough why most of the other changes are bad. It is up to you now to take this advice to heart and to make the right decisions.

On the bright side of things, i guess now the sioux lategame eco is fixed. Not a huge fan of this version of EP though.

Forgot to revert Rusk cost change (+5 cost per unit batch) which is now insignificant and unwarranted, imo.

– Per-shipment experience points required decreased to 70% (from 75%)
This buff will ensure Spanish world domination; nevermore shall the sun set on Piroshiki.

– Rodelero attack decreased to 10 (from 11) [revert]
Mitigates risk through reverting an arguably undesirable change (the unit seems plenty viable), with the addition of the above, more significant general buff.

– "Caballeros" shipment changed from +1 Lancer infantry multiplier and +2 Lancer range to +1 Lancer infantry multiplier and -10% Lancer cost
I'm adding this change to the shipment to address reasonable concerns with the late-game performance of Lancers.
If I understand correctly, this is:
- supposed to be a buff to Spanish in general
- a slight buff to Spanish on no TP maps
- a buff to Spanish early-to-mid game (and to Spanish gold)
- a nerf to Spanish late-game (where xp is less significant)
- and most importantly, a nerf to Spanish rod-lancers compared to Spanish skirms-goons.

I guess point 1 and 2 makes a lot of sense, point 3-4 I don't play the game well enough to be sure, and point 5 I don't like unless it is really necessary for balance reasons, because Spain actually has the only viable melee comp of the game so it is a bit sad to nerf it compared to standard "build skirms-goons and ship melee units because you've got nothing better to ship".
ESOC : came for the game, stayed for the drama.

Underrated nerf to an eco japan lol

I like the general bug fixes (ofc) and the changes to rockets and lancers. The rest all seems kinda iffy, especially the changes to mahout and puma are highly questionable.

The +2 range on Lancers was a great idea. It helped Lancers a lot when dealing with clumps of Musk units, which is great design imo. Especially since you can hit a musk which is in ranged mode (e.g. what you want if you're fighting musk with cav).

It's a nerf vs cav and a buff vs musks/goons. It depends on the meta and the matchup I suppose.

oh well, in general i think jap played in such a defensive style wants to make yumis, and besteiros without the negative multiplier against cav just complimented that much better.
But overall it's of course a logical change, it was long overdue haha
