Team cav hp can only be sent once iirc, I mean by only 1 player in the team. Same for other team cards. Correct me if I'm wrongduckzilla wrote:A maxed out, trainable chad-Spahi in a teamgame on Great Plains with Ottoman/German/French/Russian would have:
750 * (1 + 0.8 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1) = 1800hp
35 * (1 + 0.8 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.15) = 78.75dmg [with 3 area of effect]
Sounds a bit weak, maybe buff cost and make it ~250f.
edit for:
Same game cuir virgin for comparison:
500 * (1 + 0.9 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.15) = 1350hp
30 * (1 + 0.9 + 0.15 + 0.15 + 0.15) = 70.5dmg [with 2 area of effect]

The team cav cards are not identical. Hence, they can be sent from all four.P i k i l i c wrote:Team cav hp can only be sent once iirc, I mean by only 1 player in the team. Same for other team cards. So this is how game works? RI vs RI in isolation, no other units? lol. It doesn't prove anything. There are a lot of factors to consider, eco and military wise. And how it clarifies 2 pop?aqwer wrote:reuehcS wrote:Show hidden quotes
I tested.
1200 features for each side.
I really don't like it when people say a unit is good or bad just because they find it, or because of their experience.
If you want to improve the test, call a friend and use a micro.
See that I did not consider the Abus Gun's greater range and did not make any type of micro.
The test result says the obvious: Abus Gun is very cheap and if it were available to another civilization then it should be more expensive, but the Ottomana economy is bad, so it is balanced.
This also clarifies the fact that 2 population is ok.
In fact, mixing other types of units, the Abus Gun will do even better, but I will explain why: Assuming we add hand cavalry, then while the cavalry are fighting each other at the center of the combat, the infantry units at a distance will shoot the cavalry, and in this case the Abus Gun will do much better because its base damage is high (this is why the multiplier Janissary is only x2 against hand cavalry).
If we add heavy infantry then in addition to the base damage of the Abus Gun being greater, its multiplier is better (1.5 for Abus VS 1.3 for Crossbowman).
Otto's economy is really bad and that's why her infantry is so efficient.
The video explains the cost of 2 Abus population:
8 Abus Gun cost: 16 pop
15 Crossbowman cost: 15 pop
In other words, almost the same thing.
We have the impression that 2 pop is a lot for Abus because its cost is 150, but in fact its cost is very low and could easily be 200 or more (if the Abus Gun were trained by another civilization with a strong economy), then 200 resources = 2 pop
Even in this theory, when we look at all civilizations, we see that the population cost of the units does not follow a fixed cost-population pattern.
Population is a type of resource or characteristic of civilization, some are more efficient than others.

Re: Team Cav hitpoints
As far as I'm aware the only 150 ress unit who is worth 1 pop is the Cossack, and it is mainly as a compensation for the very pop heavy strelets.
ESOC : came for the game, stayed for the drama.

yeah in a real game the crossbows would hardly ever get in range so it would be even more one sided lolaqwer wrote:So this is how game works? RI vs RI in isolation, no other units? lol. Why are we comparing abus to xbows? What does it have to do with team cav hp?reuehcS wrote:So this is how game works? RI vs RI in isolation, no other units? lol. It doesn't prove anything.
