tiny one! map description of ESOC Wadmalaw says that the natives present on themap are the seminoles when in fact it is the cherokee which spawn. Did anybody else realise you can get all the cherokee techs in age 1?

I just hope DE is not going to implement all of the EP changes. Right now it is a big clusterfuck.

German TC invisible for both u and ur opponent, but u can select it by hotkey, I ve also encountered this bug. My friend told me it usually appears when u age up to fortress or industrial. But dont know how exactly it performs.

As stated in list ESOC won't be adding hotkeys to keep compatibility with RE.

232. FortFrontier (Euro Fort) only does "Ranged" damage despite having a cannon attack. All other buildings with a land cannon attack perform "Siege" damage. (Debatable Change. Would make shipment more viable. Balance Implications)

Lol... can't believe I never noticed this. Guess its cause no one uses it...

I discovered this when i shipped iro mantlets into a fort defense and discovered that 0.5x vs siege unit & 50rr to the "cannon" stacked up very quickly. Its often overlooked but i *assume* it has to be ranged damage otherwise it would basically one or two shot most artillery, which is obviously undesirable

Worth noting things like this. It's an oddity as it's hard to say if it was done intentionally or not by ES.

Wether it's worth changing is really up to the current patch team. I don't have much of an opinion on wether it's changed or not.

I believe a fort one shots most units either way. That is not the reason why the fort is a bad shipment. Making it stronger would buff certain turtle strats such as revolt but it wouldn't incentivise people to ship a fort in any other situation. A change is undesirable in my opinion.

It doesn't one shot most units. In fact, I don't think it one shots any Fortress units aside from Russian infantry and archaic units. However, now it will one shot most skirmisher-type units.

I mean, if you give it a siege attack, you also have to reduce its attack vs art

Yeah, that's a potential issue. Probably simpler not to change it to be honest, and maybe look for some other kind of change to the Fort.

I personally think it was intentional anyway. Agra also does ranged and not siege damage
And yeah there surely are better ways to buff the fort, if we even want to

Eh, Agra was a copy and paste job of the Euro fort. You can see this in the proto code with it being able to train European units if they were set to obtainable for India. It could just be something they never noticed. ES is one company that's very difficult to figure what they were intending.

All I know is I noticed the fort doesn't deal siege damage when I was like 10. It's pretty easy to notice once you realize it doesn't shit on falcs. Surely they could have changed it if they wanted to. I don't think it's a coincidence that it has 26 range, like falcs, but ranged damage so it doesn't beat them. While upped towers have less range than falcs, but deal siege damage.

Either way, this is definitely not a "bug fix" at this point.

to me this seems intentional. i wouldn't want any civ to have ranged cav with 20 range
