What are you talking about? I just told you regardless of whether SKG score is calculated or not MDS still needs exact same score (15-10) to qualifyamiggo1999 wrote:well if MDS needs 2 less wins with SKG points being excluded ofc that's relevant. We will see at the end of the week if they still qualify, but if they barely don't cause of a 2 point difference due to SKG's inconsistency that would suck.princeofcarthage wrote:Even if you discount SKG games, NN, Bigs, are practically out. MDS still needs 15-10 as it needs now, CMC still guaranteed a playoff spot. So yes nothing relevant changes, I don't think how you end up on table +5 or +7 is relevant.Show hidden quotes

MDS went 16-9(+7) vs SKG. NWC went 17-8(+9) vs SKG. That puts MDS at +8 and NWC at +2 recalulated. So no, they don't need the same score to qualify with/without taking SKG points into account.

Re: skg matches
Every MDS-NWC game is a 2-point swing whereas SKG games wrt the MDS/NWC standings are only one point, so the SKG games end up not mattering for the standings.
To put it clearly, MDS has to go 15-10 for the final score to be 69-69 and MDS winning the tie break. If you subtract 16 from MDS and 17 from NWC, you get 53-52 which MDS wins. But if MDS goes 14-11, it's 52-53 which MDS loses.

Well Duck said it, but it doesn't matter cuz of simply qualify or not qualify there is a middle step of tie. Technically you are right the score matters but in this case 15-10 is required for tie which MDS wins, in other MDS require 15-10 to straight qualify.

Re: skg matches
If SKG matches are not counted, MDS is 38-37, NWC is 42-33. Currently (before week 5) it is MDS at 54-46 and NWC at 59-41. Because each MDS game is a two point swing, playing vs NWC, there is no difference between the 4 and 5 win differences between the two teams in either scenario.
A 14-11 Week 5 result for MDS in either case does not qualify (52 wins vs 53, or 68 wins vs 70). A 15-10 Week 5 result for MDS in both cases qualifies (53 wins vs 52, or 69 wins vs 69 wins, MDS wins the tie breaker).
