Edited some stuff, added Civilization, Tournament Tips and Advanced Tips as categories, as well as explaining shift-clicking.

Hi @Scroogie Just wanted to say a big thank you for writing the guide firstly and updating it with DE secondly.

I used to play TAD yearsssss ago but don't think I made it higher than 1st LT. I've come back for DE and look forward to hopping back in again and needless to say guides like this are crucial.

Something I found very beneficial from my time playing TAD when I was MS, and also from playing league of legends when I was a banana, was not watching pro replays all the time. Instead I would watch players that were better than me (around the captain rank let's say) so yes they made lots of mistakes compared to pros, but it was more relatable for my little brain. The same can be said for this guide!

Thanks again!

Glad you find it helpful! I agree, often to improve the best thing to do is watch what people who are a bit better than you do differently, since they probably just overcame the weaknesses oneself still has.

Also explain how to properly rage delete and rage quit. When I play really poorly I often fail to delete an army before it gets killed by the enemy or even miss the resign button several times in a row.

While you're at it, please consider including "how to pull off a proper delete resign", thanks!

@Scroogie this is an excellent guide! You should post it on Reddit, (r/rts, r/aoe) Steam, etc. This may help get some more players to purchase the game

These are really great advices.
My early game macro has improved a lot lately and I can mostly get my age ups on time.
The thing that is making me loosing loads of games lately is now managing my mid game, more specifically when you have to transition from your base to resources out on the map.
This is specially hard as its usually when fights start happening.
