If you look at the default hotkeys in the game, this spells out Gamescom (with the exception of the s for settler, which is v by default). DE at Gamescom pretty much confirmed?

Yeah, or a stable or something. I think someone messed up there and just assumed settler would be s, or maybe it is in the new game haha.

2 De was released in mid November of last year after Gamescom gameplay reveal, I’d expect something similar

Yeah, I found that aoe3: de appeared on ESRB a few days ago. In the game, we will play with bears with lasers and monster trucks, there probably will be a new alien civ in the game.

aoe 2 DE was released in novmeebr afaik. Id assme its gonna be the same for aoe. Then aoe 4 in november aswell. just to benefit from christmas asweell. seems like a solid schedule to me

hope they just use Elo, but also hope there's an API so third parties can develop there own things if it's insufficient.

Elo would be the most likely things. Maybe leagues like sc2 and lol. But it would be sad to see the pr ranking names disappear.
