Over the moon they decided to add new civs. Very excited to see how these shake out!!

Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
one thing that worries me is that I saw no mention of whether or not they unlock all cards from the start for every civ. that seems like the #1 fix to make. hopefully they didn't advertise it because it's just kind of boring to mention

Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
Explorer has aura interesting. maybe its just replacement of old graph. Trees look damn good but i did'nt like lighting, too shiny and a little cartonish.
The most i wonder is which members in the forum are helping the DE as its known they consider thoughts of pros.

What about those horses? And the strange wagon? Redhead male vills?
Sadly the game looks too much cartoonish as aoe4.

Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
Meh, it looks like AoE3 in high def; this was always the art style. The game is cartoonish because the building/unit sizes don't match. AoE3 only didn't look like this because they didn't have enough polygons.yoqpasa wrote:What about those horses? And the strange wagon? Redhead male vills?

Honestly, just take away the bloom and it will look good. However; I don't like the colonial town centre.
Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
It is probably based on age 2 de knowledge since they did the same there. I am also expecting multiplayer similarities. The good part will be less ftj because it won't be peer to peer based the bad part will be that the multiplayer will most likely be inferior to what eso has to offer.fightinfrenchman wrote:Is this speculation or advanced knowledge you have?EAGLEMUT wrote:There will surely be options to adjust the looks.

Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
Eaglemut best mut has advanced knowledge he refuses to share with me because of some silly "non-disclosure agreement." Well I never agreed to it so idk why it mattersbobabu wrote:It is probably based on age 2 de knowledge since they did the same there. I am also expecting multiplayer similarities. Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
I am positive the actual game will not look as cartoonish as it might seem from this screenshot.
The Aoe4 trailer had a similar effect, it's just a lot of added bloom. Someone on reddit removed those effects for pictures from Aoe4 and it looked absolutely fine, like an Aoe we know.

Re: Confirmed AoE3:DE information
Those screenshots look far from cartoonish to me, that was AOEO. Flat colors with little details. This has full detail in everything. The perfect amount to still be readable, too real and the lighting and actual dirt n grime would hide everything. the smoke from cannon and shot would fill the screen blocking all view in a cloudy haze
