Skins/emotes
Would you like to see purchasable skins, emotes and loot crates in aoe3 DE? I think they are of great importance for the sustained popularity of the game. It would be great for getting the younger kids into aoe3. I would be up to do some aoe3 specific emotes for the developers so they can see what’s possible.

They said there will be no micro transactions ,so no.
Re: Skins/emotes
I think customizable uniforms and architecture types would be cool. Alas, I doubt the primitive AoE3 software would be able to handle that.
Obviously loot crates and any other pay to win features are a huge no regardless of whether they're feasible or not.

How about emotes? And some players don’t have all day to get good at the game so some pay to win features could be useful for keeping them interested and competitive.Papist wrote:I think customizable uniforms and architecture types would be cool. It’s competitive because players that don’t have time to learn the game will still have a chance against players who play 16 hours a dayharcha wrote:pay to win is the opposite of competitiveevilcheadar wrote:How about emotes? Skins make it harder to distinguish different units (and buildings) quickly. Also, microtransactions bad.evilcheadar wrote:And why not?caleb15 wrote:No

No. It just makes a second tier of players. You have those who have pay to win and those that don't.evilcheadar wrote:It’s competitive because players that don’t have time to learn the game will still have a chance against players who play 16 hours a dayharcha wrote:pay to win is the opposite of competitiveShow hidden quotes

Re: Skins/emotes
There’s already teirs of players based off how much time they can use on playing primarily.chris1089 wrote:No. It just makes a second tier of players. But it can add an extra layer of skill in the game. You need to select skins that blend in well with the environment to confuse your opponent.caleb15 wrote:Skins make it harder to distinguish different units (and buildings) quickly. Re: Skins/emotes
It all can be added to the game. Perhaps have some emote micro transactions so the developers can make more money and justify maintaining the game.RuinousEdge wrote:Only if we have a dab emote tooevilcheadar wrote:Imagine a flossing dopp
