Do you store your files on your RAM instead of an SSD?Riotcoke wrote:I have 256gb of ram, will it run on my pc?

I will repeat, if you are 18+ you are a gamer and do not have at least a standard computer (medium)(run aoe3) will do something else in life.

Re: De: can your PC run it?
My PC shouldn't have issues running it with:
i7-8550U CPU @1.80GHz 1.99GHz - 8GB RAM

Since the time I made my desktop, mobile processors feel so.... slow.-Darkryder- wrote:i7-8550U CPU
Re: De: can your PC run it?
Wut? Only if your CPU manages to boost the single core clock to above 3Ghz. It should do that when a low amount of cores are utilized.-Darkryder- wrote:My PC shouldn't have issues running it with:

Can you do the test? Run applications which only uses 2 core, then 4 and watch your CPU clock speed in the meantime.
Intel says it could go up to 4Ghz I guess the 4GHz are for single core use only so you won't probably see it in your everyday life.
RTS games need high single core power, and you don't even have 2 GHz as a base clock.. Tricky situation

Will probably need to close other programs and run fully zoomed inRiotcoke wrote:I have 256gb of ram, will it run on my pc?

Re: De: can your PC run it?
in your country for example with 1 week of work you buy any pc almost new that runs aoe3de at most.CuCkO0 wrote:Not everybody lives to work and earn big £ you know. There’s a lot more to life.look wrote:that you can't complain about spec to run the game.Show hidden quotes
but this is not exactly about it, I say that "if you are a gamer, and you have a job" one of your life goals is to have a decent pc.

Re: De: can your PC run it?
The game works on my i5-8400 with shared UHD graphics 630, but I have to play it on the lowest settings and it looks awful, much worse than the original AOE3.
Can't be ****ed buying a new PC though.

I have Intel Core i5 3330 @ 3.00GHz
8 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6570 (2 GB)
Will AoE 3 DE be smooth for medium settings on my PC?

I'm playing on Bootcamp on a 2020 Macbook Pro and I'm running into the same issue. I might just pull the trigger on a cheap gaming PC tower. We'll see.silky wrote:The game works on my i5-8400 with shared UHD graphics 630, but I have to play it on the lowest settings and it looks awful, much worse than the original AOE3.

Re: De: can your PC run it?
Probly nope. My CPU is an Ivy-Bridge gen one, like Eaglemut's, but even more lowbob. The iGPU doesn't qualify either.
By the time I'll get a new PC, AOE4 will be out, prob. And it's gonna be even more cartoonish and AOE2ish than this DE, that'll cure me of any intention to play.

Re: De: can your PC run it?
I got a warning that I only have 6 GB of ram instead of 8, but the game runs anyway, as far as graphics are concerned, and some things are even on a high setting.
