I still don't understand why we have 2 new civs, both with a house/eco bonus. Don't we have enough "eco house" civs already? I don't mean to be a negative nancy, but these civ bonuses do seem a bit disappointing.

I mean they still convert guardians, just not the animal ones so there is a line somewhere

This is a super racist trope (in addition to being sexist too). You are taking part in an age long history of Western white males sexualising women from other races/culture while covering the historic reality of systematic rapes by colonists.

Fair cop on the sexism, sorry if I caused you offence. I'm well aware of colonial atrocities and the 90%+ population loss suffered by peoples in the Americas as a result of European violence/diseases. But history is a bit more complicated than that. There ARE plenty of stories of European colonists, soldiers and conquistadors finding Native American/ African/ Indian cultures more attractive than their own, deserting and fighting their own armies or joining local communities.

Also I'm arguing that it's a good idea that the more obviously racist trope of 'nature friendship' be removed.

That's not what everyone wanted. That's what a lot of esoc players wanted. I don't think the game needs to be fully balanced. There were a lot of esoc changes that made the game more boring. Esoc is just a minority of age 3 most players will probably llike the new additions. Just current pro players won't.
